What's so special?

Came across this and am wondering what's so special.

If I were to see this style/type of book out and about I would not give it a second glance.  Is it because it's old, artwork on cover, story ....... just curious

It is a bit of strange one as there are ones that have sold for similar prices and others haven't had a bid,?:|

The Larry Kent ones seem to be getting bids as well.

This reminds of when a had a box of 120 older Mills and Boons given to me and they weren't selling here and the consensus was that it wasn't worth listing them ,so I sold them for $5 the box,(as I didn't want them sitting around).

Two weeks later there where some started selling for between $3 and $12 each for a month and then they went back to not selling at all.

So I think that with these some have become interested in them and they'll pay the higher prices to secure them,(there might be a collectable market for them now or in the future),?:|

I've bypassed a number of these at garage sales and I've always donated the L & K ones back to the op shops,:O
