I can't believe how extensive the QLD flooding is
those with high stumped houses must be counting their blessings though of course with the levels of flooding a lot of those must have been swamped too

OH & I went to the monthly Wentworth Park Antique Fair this morning and I met Hilary Kay from Antiques Roadshow. I'm sure she was trying not to be noticed, no makeup or hair done but a really lovely lady. She is very interested in Australian Pottery and bought some pieces from a friend on the C&A board.

I'm really enjoying the Bargain Hunt episodes that are on at 6.30pm. It's a fun show and some of them have absolutely no idea! Sometimes I find myself saying - no, don't buy that!!! I'm also surprised at the "experts" at times, as they have some really dud picks.

Would love to have the variety of fairs they have in the UK, in Australia.

Back from 2 weeks camping at the beach. Beautiful weather - not too hot, bit windy tho, but won't complain 'bout that 🙂

This is the first time we've been away where I haven't kept checking my emails so it actually felt like a real holiday. Must do that more often.

Just going through my 5 billion emails and this one has come through from this guy in Japan about buying books from me:

email me with the total cost of my order only don't worry about the shipping cost because i've personal shipping agent that will come for the pick up in your store,I've informed them about this they told me the best way to pick up in your store is for you to email me with your store address and the time package will be ready for pick up with your convenience time and date, please kindly get back to me with this details along with the total of my order. so i can give you my card details

I should add he's asked for 7 specific books - with quantities of between 24 & 48 of each 😮

Now I'd already answered his email about what quantities I had on ebay (and other places), which is what is already listed. I also told him I didn't have CC facilities and he'd have to pay thru Paypal.

Got a little bit anxious with this last email so I've sent one back saying there had been a misunderstanding and he'd be better off going through a much larger book seller/store/TBD.
