Who is ebaying today?

I thought I'd get this thread up again.:-)

I've had enough excitement here for one day and am off to find my zzz's.

Good thing the weekend is coming up so we can play with all this new stuff.

Charisse - you may as well give up now - book buying/stashing/selling is a disease for which there is no known cure!

Sell a few.

But when I decided to start selling to make room for my new acquisitions, I had about 500 books.

I now have 600+ keepers, 150+ to be read before I decide what to do with them, 1100+ for sale.

And I structure my life around booksales. So much for decluttering.

I'm just glad that this book stuff hasn't become an obsession. :_|

I know....sigh! But I love every minute of it and would not have it any other way ๐Ÿ™‚

I look forward to the day when I can get to those tubs of books that I cannot reach right now, and exclaim over the treasures I forgot I had.

Re: Who is ebaying today?

I reckon a signed, 1st ed, brand new book would be worth an extra $20 in the long run.

Re: Who is ebaying today?

interesting blog
don't know why an author would feel guilty about selling their own book for RRP when the 'discounter' would be paying them a miniscule royalty on the discounted copy
and those who think they should get things for the lowest possible price -irrespective of the effect on their local economy
books are too easy
but we can't expect to get everything we consume cheaper overseas cos then who will have a job in Australia to buy anything?

Don't know that we've had this site up before - dubious name, but great pictures of bookshelves and books!
