We are all packed up and it went pretty smoothly, apart from the bit where Miss 8 decided to play with the really important seal for the shipping container and locked the seal without it being on the container. The removalists were so nice to her and tried to make her not feel bad. I was not so kind, and just hope she learnt a lesson about fiddling with things.

I have nothing to do other than check that the cleaners did what they needed to do and then drop the keys off at the real estate agents. After seemingly chasing my tail for months getting ready for this move it feels quite decadent to have a free day. 🙂

It didn't even crack double figures in my part of Melbourne today! 😮

Mind you, this time next week I'll be moaning about the heat and humidity. 😉

Has been chilly up here in Armidale but temps are on the up, 18 degrees and sunny all week. Yay!

It was supposed to be 16 here.

The fog didn't burn off until about 2 this arvo. The highest temp I heard on the radio was 9, at 3.

I could have gone down the beach last weekend, if I wanted to drive 100k each way.

I've been to the beach when the wind-chill factor was around 0, so proximity to a beach does not necessarily guarantee warmth. :^O
