A buyer on one of my auctions asked to cancel the purchase and hadn't paid yet

When I clicked to cancel the transaction, it then came up that the refund was being initiated when the buyer hadn't paid? What do I do as I don't want a refund to be paid to them for something they hadn't paid for. Please help

Does it say that the buyer is being refunded or that your seller fees are being refunded as the transaction has been cancelled?
