Ebay keeps adding a 1 on the end of my bank account

So yeah as stated every time I've tried to set up my account through eBay at the very end of adding a bank account for payments it adds a 1 on the end of my account number, I've looked all over the internet for a reason as to why this would be happening but I've come up with nothing in the end. And bc of this random 1 on the end of my bank account it won't send through microdeposits to verify my account and now I've got money that has been sent to an account that isn't mine. plz I need help!

You need to talk to an eBay CS rep for this, we are just members like yourself here. Go to the link below and scroll to the bottom for the "contact us " option.

I don't know how much use the CS reps will be as they are a fairly hopeless bunch, especially with anything technical. But contact them anyway during business hours - you never know.

If the micro deposits can't be sent, then your funds are not being sent anywhere as no remittance will take place until the account is verified. However, as you are a new/intermittent seller, your funds will be on hold anyway for up to 30 days, or until tracking shows as delivered.

The item you sold on the 16th was pickup, so why didn't you just get cash on the day?

Hopefully a supervisor will be able to help - I seriously doubt normal CS representatives will have a clue as to why  1 is added at the end of your bank account number. Supervisors might be unavailable on the weekend, so I would advise you to wait until tomorrow.
