I need to change my contact e-mail address, However e-bay won't let me.

I need to change my contact e-mail address, However e-bay won't let me, saying that there already is an account with that address.  How do I fix this?

If there is another eBay account linked to that email or there was then you cannot use that for an eBay account.

MY PRESENT E-MAIL LINKED TO EBAY IS NOT WORKING, BUT I CAN NOT CHANGE IT TO  MY  DIFFERENT EMAIL.

If you are getting an error that says your email address is already associated with another eBay account, you must use a new email address for this eBay account.
