I need to change my email address in my account details please?

For some reason when I enter my new email address in my account it will not accept the change saying the email address is in use? Can someone tell me why please?

If that email address has ever been used at anytime in the past on eBay, it will be flagged as "in use".

Possibly you have inadvertently created another eBay account at one time by signing in to eBay using a social media account associated with that email address.

Use a new email address for this account.
