When creating a listing withn the app, photos taken with the camera function are not true to the image visible when the photo is captured. They are zoomed out and then need to be cropped every time.
This is a new problem - this never used to happen.
Using samsung phone.

I would like to mirror this issue on samsung(s25), the camera is cropped and zoomed in (ebay app is set at 1x so its not that) and when we take the picture, its showing a much larger picture taken which then requires us to use the crop tool on every picture which is very tedious
Thanks

I also have this issue on the Google Pixel 7 with the latest update. Super Annoying.

Why on Earth are people mucking about with the eBay camera option and photo editor. I can think of nothing worse. Not only does it chew up bandwidth, but it's ridiculously slow and lacks basic functionality.
The whole issue can be completely avoided by taking pics BEFORE listing, performing any required editing and then uploading than at your leisure.

I take all my photos in the app and just found the change to the photo function this morning. Instead of cropping I have been taking the photos outside the highlighted frame but still centreing it and photos are coming out great.
