Lost discount

I recently purchased an iPhone and it had a $20 discount code that I applied while checking out using Afterpay - and the Afterpay failed.

My Afterpay account was in order and I am currently looking for answers with them as to why it failed.

So I went back to purchase using PayPal 'Pay In 4' payments and the code for the $20 discount no longer worked because the system thought I had already used it.

So ostensibly - I LOST $20.

I have contacted Afterpay and they are looking into it and they of course blamed ebay but said they couldn't help me with the lost $20 and suggested contacting ebay - which is of course impossible.

Any ideas on this loss of discount (despite refreshing the purchase page) - and how to actually make contact with the ebay megalith?

No idea about the discount, but in all honesty, Ebay is not  the place to be buying iphones. There's no warranty and it may even be counterfeit, so you'll lose a lot more than $20.

If you really want to contact Ebay, you can only do so by using the Chat function during business hours. Be aware that customer service are mostly useless though.
