I was advised by eBay that someone use my eBay account. I was advised to change my password. After which I lost all my purchased history. Kindly advise how to recover them please. Thanks

First and most important, are you 100% sure it WAS really eBay and not a scammer?
How were you advised?
Your purchase history has a dropdown menu to go back, you don't have any recent feedback, so you will need to use the drop down menu

Did you get an email that you clicked on?
How do you know it was from Ebay?
Did you go into your actual Ebay account first to see if the message itself was in the mailbox?
Sounds like you may have fallen for a scam - now they have your personal information.

Hi sandypebbles,
Thank you very much for your promptly email. I appreciated very much.
I am quite sure it is from eBay, because when I login eBay with new password, my username is there and I previous viewing of items are there except of purchase history is gone. Furthermore, when I looked back on my old emails from eBay, all of them not able to retrieve from my eBay account.
When I tried dropdown menu for the last three years, it return will no purchase history statement. Best regards and thanks.

Hi jellybirddesigns,
Thank you for your responds with appreciation.
I changed the password because I was informed by eBay that someone login my account at different location and asked if it is me by message itself in mailbox. If not, change the password.
After password changed with same email address, all my purchase history gone. I am sorry if I do not answer your questions clearly. First I am 82 years old man and not too good in Computer . Second, my English is not that good. Third, I do particulate all my purchases in eBay since starting of COVID-19.
Would eBay can help me to retrieve my Purchase History? When I ask eBay to help, it looks like only you kind hearted people respond to my request and no responds from eBay so far. Best Regards

@chan-wo_0,
The posters here are asking you about whether or not you are absolutely, positively, 100% sure that the message about someone else logging into your account was from eBay.
If you received this message by email, and if you clicked a link that supposedly opened your web browser in eBay, it may very well have been a scam. The page would have looked exactly like eBay's website, but it would have given the scammers all of your login information.
If, however, you did NOT click onto a link in an email, but rather you went to your web browser and typed in the eBay URL https://www.ebay.com.au, then you would be okay.
If you have real concerns, you should contact eBay immediately via the online chat. It isn't available for ordinary enquiries, but you can use it for a "hacked account" issue. I will post the direct link here for you; if you hover your cursor (by moving your mouse) over the link, you will see where it leads.
Link posted directly (you can copy this link and post it in a new browser tab or window): https://www.ebay.com.au/help/account/protecting-account/get-help-hacked-account?id=4196#contactWay

After you changed your password, did you see a page saying "it's really you" or something like that? This happened to me once (that eBay asked me to reset my password because they thought somebody might have logged in to my account, although it was really me using an incognito browser because I thought it would be better without the cookies etc.), and after I reset my password (they sent a link to reset it to my mailbox), I saw a page stating the above. And everything looked normal, including the purchase history.

Hi there
I did'nt send you an email, I only posted an answer to your question here on the forum
So if you received an email. saying it was from me, it was not
The message you received about your account, how did you get it?
Was that sent via email to your email address, and if so, did you click on a link in that email?
This is important
This is how scammers/hackers also get access to your account to do and change things as they please, not to mention buy up big and leave you with the bill

Sorry for asking an obvious question, but you don't have any recent feedback, so... when was the last time you purchased something? Are you sure you could see anything before you changed your password, I mean, any purchases made in the last 60 days (this is the default view for purchases)? Have you tried changing the settings to 2021 or 2020 instead of the last 60 days?
Edit: Sorry, Sandy had already addressed the matter. I am totally sleep-deprived. ๐
