Just went to find an old order and I can't see anything prior to 2021. Why has this recently changed and how do I find these old orders?

I think it has always been like that.

Try your normal mailbox, as you should normally receive an email confirming your order, and also when the order is sent.

Orders remain under Purchases for 3 years. Anything earlier than that — gone like the diamond-white frost in the glaze of the sun…

Your Purchase History only covers the current year, or either of the two most recently completed calendar years. That means that as of January 1, 2023, the furthest back your Purchase History goes is the start of 2021.

You may be able to spot some transactions on your feedback page if you exchanged feedback.

Reports take a week to generate, and then you must use the resulting link within another week before it expires. Transaction data is quite basic: item name and number, date, price, shipping, seller username. No pictures or descriptions.

I have found many old purchases just by searching in my mailbox. Just a couple of weeks ago I could not find something that I had bought from the UK many years ago, and I found that purchase in an old mailbox I used for eBay back then. They are still even selling that item.
