REMOVED said that they deposited money in my account but i have not received refund in my bank

Dear Sir ,

I bought a Torch and REMOVED never sent it in package then they said they would refund me the money I asked for the Torch or a refund they said they have refunded the money but nothing has been deposited into my bank

You are not allowed to name and shame on the forum

Did the seller tell you they refunded to your actual bank, or just they refunded?

How did you pay originally? 

How long ago did they say they would refund?

Seller is in China with awful feedback so it is very possible they are just stringing you along in the hope you will wait until it is too late to open an item not received dispute via eBay

What was the last date of estimate delivery shown?

How did you pay?  Was it by paypal which was funded by your bank account or bank deposit?

If it was bank deposit then you have probably lost your money as there is no buyer protection for that payment method.

If it was by paypal, funded by your bank account, th money will remain in paypal until you manually transfer it to your bank account.

You can see if the refund has been activated by the seller by looking at the transaction in paypal....it should show as being reversed if the refund has been done.

Log into your paypal account and where it shows the balance in your account there is a button to "Transfer Funds".   The next page gives you the option to transfer funds to your bank account or transfer funds into your paypal account from your bank account.

In all the years I have used paypal (long before ebay came on the scene) I have never known funds to transfer automatically to my bank account.  Auto transfers are only done when money is going back to a credit or debit card account.

lyndai you are 100% correct. I omitted to add the auto transfers, from PayPal were back into my credit card, where it originally came out from. .Thanks again.

the same with me the seller said they refund my money and it did not go through my account and ebay does not have a facility to contact them

Regarding your third passage, the cash will stay in PayPal until you physically move it to your financial balance. If it's not too much trouble, prompt how might I 'physically move' the cash into my a/c? I never have not needed to do that without anyone's help so I'm intrigued to know how.

It has consistently been 'dealer discount, PayPal credit sum once more into my bank a/c'. Full stop. Much obliged.
