Seller not responding to messages

Seller offered international postage at time of transaction as PayPal purchase was completed without any issue. Seller then changed their postage status that they now no longer offer international postage within 24/48 hours after point of sale of my item.  I have waited for almost a week and item has not been sent according to postage status. I’ve asked seller to advise or cancel and refund if they no longer offer international postage. They have not responded to any messages (2 messages so far with another to be sent again shortly) re status of item nor my request to cancel and refund if they no longer wish to sell to me.. What can I do? I worry if I wait too long for the supposed estimated arrival of item being end of August that I’ll lose my money. Do I wait and seek a refund that item not received at that time, or just report them to eBay for what appears at this time as theft and dishonesty given they have had ample time to respond to me. I’m very disappointed with this service as I thought eBay sellers provided better service. It’s disturbing that they have not responded during this time and appear to have gotten away from my money.. The amount is over AUD218. Please advise what I can do.

There are also sellers who don't mark their items as sent. Sometimes I have received items before they

were even marked as sent.

Your money is definitely not lost, as you can get it back if the item does not arrive by the estimated date. If you really concerned and want to talk to eBay, you can contact them via live chat from the help page, but I think you should wait a bit longer, and I don't think they can refund anyway until after the last day of the estimated delivery because the seller could have sent the item and not marked it as sent or maybe they were not online.
