See the attached image - firefox, and the site looks an absolute horror, and full of javascript errors.
Is this a new design that someone forgot to test in firefox (v78.002 btw)?

I am running Firefox, and the ebay site is showing just fine.

Ditto, Maybe the OP needs to keep their browser up to date.

I have had that happen occasionally but usually find that refreshing the page corrects it.
Try updating your browser first then refresh if it happens again.

Thanks, yeah, the update helped.
I've consciously avoided updating to avoid breaking stuff - which does happen from time to time keeping software on the bleeding edge.
What was/is weird here is that without changing anything ebay fell apart - so they must have changed something that the (not so) old version of firefox did not like.
Anyway; all good now, thanks.

If you are using Firefox and getting pages loading as text without formatting and updating Firefox does not help, try temporarily disabling "Enhanced Tracking Protection" on eBay using the shield icon to the left of the page address.
See this on the US eBay discussion boards for some details:

Yup, problem came back after a week or so.
I think I'll live without ebay, there's some dodgy script inclusion going on here.
