The the past month or so, I have been unable to access my ebay account whatsoever. Whatever I do it says 'email does not match' (Currently using a new account, old one was quod_18,<removed for your privacy>). I gave up trying, and decided that if any of my remaining listings were sold I would instantly refund via paypal. Since then, none of my listings were purchased so I had nothing to worry about.
Today, I checked my bank account and noticed that I had been charged $56.65 with no details given to me whatsoever. It just said the money was spent on ebay from Sydney (I'm from Melbourne) using my card. I don't know if this means the reason I couldn't access my account was because someone else did and changed the details and is now spending my money? If that's the case, I can't even log in to unlink my card from the account!
I need this solved, please. Why was I charged? Why haven't I been able to get into my account? Is there anything I can do to get this money back (and my account) because I'm suffering extreme financial hardship and I was using eBay to finally try to get a source of income, and now it's just costing me.
Thank you for any help in advance.

You will need to talk to eBay. This is a member to member board, and none of can really help you.
RING eBay.
Ps: these boards are also public; it is not a good idea (and is against board policy) to post personal details or email addresses.

I have asked a mod to remove it for you

I've sent a query to customer support instead and have realised putting in on this forum was probably not the best option. If a moderator could please remove this post, that would be great. Thank you.

As stated, you need to contact eBay,(the best option seems to be for them to call you).
This gives you their direct links without having to go through their rigmarole:
https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home
Just scroll to the bottom and keep in mind that the Call option is only available during business hours,(8 am to 9
pm Mon to Fri and 8 am to 5 pm on Sat and Sun).
