First of all, I am unable to discount items in my store and I have logged 5 calls over the last 5 months with eBay. Month after Month they charge me full eBay store and seller fees even though I am unable to do what I want as a seller?!?!?
So frustrating that a company that makes as much money as eBay can leave their paying customers with a broken interface for nearly half a year. Noone has offered compensation or work arounds either. I just wait 2 weeks and try again and then log another call and explaoin the situation all over again.
Really really tired of it to be honest
I just want to be able to offer a discount to my buyers and make myself (and eBay) more money!! Why the **bleep** is that so much to ask a company that is worth $42 Billion USD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Excuse my french but as you can imagine, I am at the end of my tether

When you are phoning them, are you calling the overseas call center ? most of the time, call center CS staff merely read from scripts and tell the caller what they want to hear (or that they will pass it on to tech) in order to get the caller off the line as fast as possible
Unless it is a very simple question/issue it is unlikely to go past the CS staff who is reading from the script
Have you used the have us call you option at all?
If you have used that already, have you asked to speak with a supervisor via that method?

Great questions and valid points and unfortunately yes I have done all of the above.
In fact the last call I made I instantly demanded to speak to a supervisor.
I have someone called Victor who apparently has taken ownership of this but all he does is call me once a week (for two weeks now) to say that it is still an issue and someone would get back to me in a week!?!)
I am flabbergasted that this is the best they can do and have not offered to compensate me or made the effort to LOOK LIKE they are escalating it up the line
If I operated my business like this I would be bankrupt in a month - yet this seems to be BAU for eBay !!!! SO ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED!!
(it's in their best interest to get this resolved too but I don't think anyone of importance got that memo)
