Why sign in again to reply to messages?

I have already signed into my ebay account and went to reply to a message, but the system asks again for me to sign in. Why the stupidity in this? box is ticked to stay signed in already when signing in first time. 

Don't like typing passwords more than necessary and this is overkill to say the least. Incompetent system! 

My computer is up to date with all patches too!

Signing into the boards and signing into ebay buying/selling are different processes.

I have the Keep me signed in option ticked and I only ever have to sign in if I have turned off my computer completely.

If your problem is recent then it may have something to do with the many glitches that are being reported on the boards. 

Have you tried clearing cookies and cache and rebooting your computer?  If you are using IE try changing to Firefox or Chrome...they are more ebay friendly.

If you mean messages in My Ebay, then all I can say is ebay are just keeping

your account secure.

I've found, for some time now, that I have to sign in - again - on My Ebay.

Dunno why, just happens.
