Hi,
All of a sudden I am getting this message.
Pardon our interruption...
As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.
First it popped up when I was trying to sign out. It would not allow me, so I just closed the browser, deleted all cache and cookies etc. Then when I tried to log back in I got the same message. It will not allow me to log in. Javascript is enabled in my browser and as far as I no I do not have any Ghostery or NoScript plugins running.

The Technical department is mucking about with the coding.
eBayโs coding is (in my opinion) a wild tangle of coding. Original coding has been โupgradedโ so many times and subsequently patched to fix unanticipated issues that itโs now something of a Frankensteinโs Monster. No one, it seems, does proper beta testing before installing edits live.
The CS reps donโt receive correct information from Tech (in my opinion), and their default position is โEverythingโs fineโ. The Tech department wonโt admit to making a casserole of it all. So the endless loop of deny deny deny goes on in a carousel of irresponsibility.
My access all through the last 30 hours has been intermittent, glitchy, and redolent of incompetence. I wouldnโt bother contacting eBay CS staff concerning it, as they are presumably untrained in IT, would refute documented and observable issues, and would have zero authority to fix the problem.
Were I an eBay executive, Iโd be tempted to haul IT to the dungeon and tell them that every time someone tries to log in and is sent on this login goose chase, they (IT employees) would receive a little taser jolt. Bzzzzt! Bzzzzzzzzzzt!
(Disclaimer: I do not own a taser and the above is said for rueful if frustrated comedic effect.)
(Disclaimer to the disclaimer: โก๏ธ)

Bumping to the top, so hopefully no repeat threads

Likely the issue is related to the sitewide issues that others are experiencing for the last two days.
If you are having trouble signing in but you are able to reach the community and you are signed in here, try using the link in the upper right to reach your My eBay page by clicking on your profile picture icon.
Try another browser or a private or incognito browser window to rule out a browser or cookie issue.
If you are having problems making a purchase, wait a bit and try again later.

Same was happening in eBay itself and here on the forum
Same on 4 browsers and two devices
Which eBay flat out denied (of course) early this morning when told about it

I can post on this community forum but as soon as I go to ebay to buy/sell, I get that stupid message and it blocks me from getting back in.

Opposite way around for me. Could get into the board but not "my ebay".
