ebay Search engine only bringing up limited numbers of items

Hi all, has anyone noticed in last 24 hrs that when searching for items its only giving a very small number of results ?? my example is "Athearn Ho Scale" this should normally bring up thousands of items globally but only giving 1183 today!! And the search results is all messed up too, it gives a pile of stuff that is not related like security cameras. maybe I should have phrased the search "give me everything except Ho scale"

I am having the same problem and ebay refuses to let me contact them about it or I'm just dumb not knowing how to get through to them. It seems that their search engine now either gives you everything for a general search (Stamps, Australia = 300,000+), but 160 for a specific search (Stamps Australia, Used, 1988 = 160, Stamps Australia, Used, 1989 = 160, Stamps Australia, Used, 2022 = 160, Stamps Australia, Used, 2023 = 160). I can only assume that they have a glitch in the engine or the system is stuffed. Either way, it's a pain in the ass.

Anyone able to offer advice please?
