unable uploading image to message to seller

i'm trying to upload an image (PDF  2.51 mb) to a message to a seller, ebay advises that the image should be less than 9mb which it obvioulsy is however won't allow me to proceed.

FYI... a PDF file isn't an image 😉

Try uploading an image file... jpeg, png, etc..
