Never click on any link unless you know exactly why it is sent to you.
I once clicked on an ebay email about free listings, only to find out later that it was a fake one. I got hacked. they took my ebay account over and my email account over. I spent a couple of days trying to sign in but couldn't. Finally I contacted ebay to get my account back. That took a while to prove who i was. Then I contacted microsoft security to get my email account back, That took a lot longer. I am very careful now.
