Home page annoys me

Hi I do not like a page of knives on my page when I open eBay. This annoys me and I would like it removed, please.

You would have to talk to eBay about that. The boards are for members, not eBay, and eBay rarely visit them. And even more rarely acknowledge visiting them.

I don't like getting sent to the 'Home' page when I log in, as I have set my landing page to 'My eBay', but that's life. It's only one click to get out after all.

My worry would be why you are being shown knives. maybe that is what you have been searching for?

Might have been kitchen equipment. Just looked at mine, the ads are unrelated to my watch list or searches.

I bookmark My eBay too, and use that, bypassing the home page, like Dave.

When I logged in it went straight to my ebay now it doesn't. most annoying. My landing page is still set as that, so something must have changed lately.

Yes something has changed, and it's called advertising. Most annoying when you set your landing page as "my ebay" but land on advertising instead. It annoys me almost as much as when i want to watch a video clip and have to watch an ad first...grrr

But that's life.

It really sucks! As of last night I had to bookmark the discussion boards to bypass the bloody home page (in which I have absolutely zero interest). Why can't they just leave things alone, FGS?

I guess that makes me a visionary.
