Spam mail

First time selling in ages and about 24 hours after listing ad I received an email that looks like its from ebay stating that my ad may be in breach and may be removed. The statement "sell off Ebay" is not in the ad and the item number is not mine.

Has anyone had this happen?

Is this a spam email of some desciption?

I would be very wary of that email, it could be phishing & therefore do NOT click on any links in it.

I don't think eBay says 'maybe', it's either in breach or it's not. 

If it is from eBay that email should be in your eBay message inbox? 

By the way C.O.D.' means cash on delivery at the buyers address & should not be used for 'Cash on PU'.

Have deleted the Email.

it was not in my Ebay messages.
