I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome as well as about 4 different ad blockers, but keep getting the message (outlined in red with red exclamation mark) "Want to continue buying and selling on eBay? Update your browser now." at the top of my Ebay pages, with no apparent way to get rid of it. Is this some kind of malware/adware clickbait or something? Could be taken for an official Ebay announcement.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks kopenhagen5. I did all that and it made no difference. Had to contact Ebay and eventually they fixed it.

I've got exactly the same problem. What do I do to get rid of this annoying message?

I'm ALREADY running uBlock Plus Adblocker...
This DOESN'T happen in Opera - just in Chrome, so...
**bleep** this, I'm switching over to Opera.
PROBLEM **bleep** SOLVED !!!

Moderators
So instead of adding to my grief by silencing me and sweeping this issue under the carpet, why don't you help me get rid of this intrusive banner at the top of every ebay page?
Do you know that I cannot find ANY reference to this banner in the page source view? How do you account for that? It ONLY occurs on ebay pages - nobody elses!
I see in a post greatgrandmasbuttonjar states "Had to contact Ebay and eventually they fixed it" - so why can't you fix mine too?

So have you contacted eBay?
This gives you their direct links without having to go through their rigmarole:
https://www.ebay.com.au/help/home.
Just keep in mind that the Call option is only available during business hours,(8 am to 9 pm Mon to Fri and
8 am to 5 pm on Sat and Sun).
Have us call you seems to be the best option.
eBay don't check or reply here and the moderators only do the boards,(members answer questions).

What does it matter how it was fixed as long as it was fixed? Ebay will not tell you anyway.
Have you actually reported the problem to ebay or are you going to continue being offensive to members who cannot do anything to help you.
