An update on eBay Plus

We are continuously working to improve the selling experience on eBay. We've been working with the seller and buyer community to identify issues that matter to them. Based on this feedback, we’re making some changes to eBay Plus from February 8, 2022:

• eBay Plus item threshold is increasing to $9.90
  In August 2021, we lowered the threshold for eBay Plus items from $15 to $2.50. We then heard from many sellers that offering Express shipping on low value items is not a viable option for most businesses. That’s why we are increasing the item threshold to $9.90 from February 8, 2022.
• We will be reversing Express shipping subsidy paid if an item has been sent with Standard Post.
  Please ensure that you are sending your eBay Plus metro orders with the correct Express postage service (as defined in our Express service list). We provide an Express shipping subsidy of $4 for items over $15, and $2.50 for items between $9.90 and $15 to help cover the cost of upgrading to an Express option. From February 8, 2022, eBay will be reversing the Express shipping subsidy that was paid if an item has in fact been sent with Standard Post rather than Express.
