Australia Post: Temporary suspensions of Parcel Post pick-up and North Melbourne facility closure

Australia Post Parcel Post collections temporarily suspended 

All Parcel Post collections in NSW, ACT and VIC will be paused from 07:00am Saturday 4 September until 07.00am Tuesday 7 September. This means sellers who usually have collections during these times will/may be impacted.  

This suspension excludes Express Post, Premium and Startrack Express services as well as any parcels lodged directly at a Post Office or a street posting box. Collections in other states will remain the same.

Temporary closure of North Melbourne facility 

On 31 August, an Australia Post facility in North Melbourne was temporarily closed. 

How we’re protecting you

Given the ongoing government restrictions, protections are already in place for sellers based in or posting items to NSW, VIC and ACT, whereby:

• We have extended estimated delivery dates nationwide. Based on this latest disruption we are further extending estimated delivery dates 
• We will remove your late shipment defects
• We will remove your Item Not Received (INR) count in Service Metrics, along with any related Negative or Neutral Feedback. To be eligible, upload valid tracking before the estimated delivery date
