We understand that the recent announcement regarding US tariffs may have brought uncertainty, especially for those of you who frequently sell into the US market. We remain committed to supporting you through these changes.

What’s Happening?

Starting 5 April 2025, new US Customs policy will impact shipments from Australia to US buyers. US customers will now be responsible for additional duties on most orders over US $800, and they may need to provide further tax information for customs clearance. This could result in shipment delays due to US Customs processing. To address these changes, we are actively updating Estimated Delivery Dates to offer better arrival estimates.

Staying Informed

Our page on tariffs when selling to the US will keep you updated, particularly regarding the impact on international sellers. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.

We’re closely monitoring how these new US import requirements affect buying and selling on our marketplace.

Our Commitment to You

We recognise that these changes can impact your business and we’re taking proactive steps to protect our sellers. This includes adjusting Estimated Delivery Dates (EDDs) to ensure accurate arrival estimates for buyers, adjusting late shipment rates when valid tracking indicates delays due to shipping issues and removing associated defects. Additionally, we will remove negative feedback related to tariffs. We’ll continue to review our protections as these changes are implemented.
