Effective from 31 March 2014, Australia Post will be making some price adjustments to selected Australia Post parcel products. Full details outlining the changes can be viewed at http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/pricing-updates.html.
What’s changing for eBay Sellers?
- The postage prices for Australia Post/eBay 500g flat rate satchel will increase from $6.95 to $7.15 (by 2.8 per cent).
- The packaging prices for Australia Post / eBay flat rate boxes will change: BX2 will increase from $2.35 to $2.40 (by 2.1%) and BX4 will increase from $3.25 to $3.35 (by 3.0%). There is no price change to the eBay flat rate boxes postage.
- Price changes to Parcel Post and Express Post will flow through to the eBay shipping platform where these parcel services are available. Small parcels up to 500g for Parcel Post and Express Post will increase by 3.5 per cent. Parcels over 500g and up to 22kg for both products will increase by an average of 8.6 per cent; this will apply to the basic and per kilo charges.
