The ACT government is considering legislation which would restrict the sale of tickets to any event declared as a "major event". Although it doesn't yet affect what you can legally sell on eBay, we've updated our Event ticket resale policy to include some information about this proposed legislation.
We've also taken this opportunity to rewrite the policy page. It now sets out more clearly when event tickets may be sold on eBay, as well as outlining the applicable legislation for events in specific states.
A related policy, the Contracts policy, has also been rewritten and aligned to other eBay sites.
