You may have noticed earlier this week that Australia Post's Click and Send service was temporarily suspended due to a system error that had the potential to expose customer data including name and address. Australia Post issued the following statement:
"Yesterday the Click and Send service was temporarily suspended due to a system error.We apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused during this time.Customers who use the service were notified via the online site.
As a result, the site was temporarily deactivated, as our team worked to ensure the security of the system for all customers.
The Click and Send service is now available again (as at 2.45pm Tuesday 2 October).
Australia Post would like to reassure Click and Send customers that at no stage were their financial details compromised."
