***Updated: Listing policy updates on eBay.com.au - electronic equipment, adult material, alcohol and used cosmetics*** |
18 December 2013 | 10:31AM EST

As previously announced, we're in the process of reviewing our listing policies. We've now updated the following policies on prohibited items:
- The Electronic and surveillance devices policy replaces both the Electronics & Electrical Equipment and the Electronic Surveillance Equipment policies. The revised policy also sets out new guidelines on the sale of wireless audio transmitters, as transmitters that operate in the frequency range 694-820 MHz will be affected by upcoming changes to the Australian standard for frequency bands.
- The Adults only policy (formerly Adult Material) has been rewritten. The revised policy more clearly sets out what is and is not permitted to be sold on eBay.com.au. Minor changes were also made to the guidelines on Magazines and Books.
- The Alcohol and Used Cosmetics policies have been rewritten. Some minor changes were made to the guidelines to align these policies to other eBay sites.
We'll let you know about further changes to our policies as they're ready.
Regards,
The eBay Team
