Opt-in to eBay Guaranteed Delivery! Through the program, items that can be delivered in under 3 days will be highlighted through a Guaranteed Delivery toggle and can also be highlighted in search via filtering options where buyers can select when they want their item to arrive (2, 3 or 4 days).
We know that shoppers are 45% more likely to purchase if they have confidence the item will arrive within 2-3 days*. Sellers can opt-in today to be a part of the program, with the full program launching in early 2018.
If the item doesn't arrive within the eBay Guaranteed Delivery timeframes, the buyer can request one of two refund options:
- Refund on the shipping cost (paid for by the seller). Or, if shipping was free, the buyer can get a $10 coupon instead (paid for by eBay).
- Free return label for a full refund of the item's cost (paid for by the seller).
Right now the opt-in is open to sellers who meet all the necessary requirements. Sellers can opt-in, set up their postage rate tables, and specify their handling cut-off times. Until the full program is rolled out in early 2018, buyers won't be able to see a seller's updated delivery timeframes, and sellers' performance standards won't be impacted.
Sellers who are unable to opt-in just yet can still register to be a part of the program. We'll be in touch when they're ready to be onboarded.
To offer eBay Guaranteed Delivery, sellers should check that they meet all requirements, including:
- Above Standards or eBay Top Rated seller
- Offer returns on listings' structured fields
- Offer Immediate Pay on the listings you wish to make eligible
- Use a tracked delivery service and consistently upload tracking to eBay
- Use the new postage rate tables
Sellers can opt-in or register for eBay Guaranteed Delivery where buyers can enjoy fast, accurate, and reliable delivery.

The eBay Team
