Was bidding on a item, that had option to bid or buy it now, and a few days later it has gone and can you end a bid when some one is bidding

So i was bidding on a bumbo starting price was $35 and buy it now was $50 then 2 days later it had dissapeared off mybidding list. Can they end they it with out letting the bidder know ??
