My buyer was initially very responsive + willing to change the low
detail seller rating. However, since I was told by 4 different ebay
customer service agents that under no circumstances could it be changed

Yes, I'm not happy with the way these DSRs are set up either. My buyer
left POSITIVE feedback for an item and then decided to leave a low DSR
for description for the same item.I found out which item the low DSR
related to via eBay, contacted the buye...
