Most 1938 crowns on Ebay are fake. Many 1937 crowns are fake too.
Generally you won't be able to tell a fake by sight and anyhow most
sellers won't send you the coin actually shown in the photo. When
testing for real crowns (1) they are 92.5% silver ...
