Yep, it’s clearly a common problem and the EBay response appears to be
disinterest. I put this issue up somewhere else in this morass where
eBay tries to get users to fix its problems, rather than paying staff. I
tagged the eBay payments team on that...
I’m in the middle of the ame problem, trying to register an account with
EBay using an Australian bank account. This is even more frustrating
because this is my money that EBay is refusing to pay into my account.
