I have a scammer who has tried to purchase outside the eBay format. How do I report this person.

A new member has purchased an item from me. Has asked me to send details via private email. 100% sure it’s a scammer but I’ve tried to report but nothing has happened.Would like to save someone from the grief of dealing with this.
