placed local pickup on item sold, however buyer would like it posted. I've already sent invoice, tried adding other post item but won't do

Placed local pickup on item sold. Sent invoice. Buyer in same state but some distance for pick up. Offered to post it, have cost, and tried to add new post item and cost to invoice, but it won't allow me. How do I deal with this?
