I just don't get the high fees for selling it is a rip off, my account says 3.00 per listing then i get hit with other fees pls explain it

I do not understand how these high fees work is it really worth it? i list something and it shows my balance and then i get a bill for nearly 300.00 along with the fact they take my money from pay pal is this fair and is this right??? how can we make...
