The seller has reduced the overall price for combined postage & says "use paypal manually and ignore the invoice price". How do I do this?

The seller has agreed on a reduced price for combined postage on multiple items. He has not changed the invoice but says "just pay Paypal the new low amount manually". How do I do this?
