I have bid on a item but ca not sign in to finish

I have tried to bid on a Item but when it goes to the Sign in page it keeps kicking my PW out???

Why do I have to keep signing in to bid or add item to my watch list on my computer I am signed in?

Why do I continually have to sign in when I bid or add a item to my watch lis when I have already signed in to me Ebay site. I have lost out on buying items because of this.
