I was of the impression packages over 1 kg were cubed - and only if they were of 'boxy' dimensions - i.e. - if you can pack it in a bag the shape of a ball - it cannot be cubed.

If Ebay have decided that you must provide a FULL REFUND - that is the equivalent of NOT SELLING the item in the first place - yes?! Does Ebay - having created the situation as it stands (i.e. NO SALE) - refund your Listing and FVF fees?
