a buyer has asked if she can cancel her bid due to her mistake, i said ok, how do i cancel her bid or does she need to make a bid retractio

Do i need to contact the buyer to tell her to make a retraction or can i do it, i dont want the sale to end and then be charged a fee for something that didnt sell . thanks
