only known to southern europe before.
i looked at the english page and it says something about vines and
stuff. i was genuinly surprised to find the german page containing so
much more information. i thought cos there are SO many more native
english speaking countries around it would be ...
sum: the little seeds on the outside are nuts (botanically). it is not a
berry as such. cashews, peanuts and brasil nuts are not nuts. (all in
that link)
