Cheap golf clubs are usually sourced from China. They are copies of the real thing right down to serial numbers, but are inferior products. Testing has been done on the products to confirm this.

It has happened to me in the past. Just a temporary ebay glitch, log out, wait a while, log back in etc, it will eventually return to normal.
