Has anyone ever gone to the ombudsman to appeal against ebays decision to allow the buyer to keep an item and payment because the buyer stated " Item not as described" ?

It's possible that some have done that after failing to correctly deal with an INAD Case when it was opened.

nobody here can answer such a broad question. You would need to ask the Ombudsman.
Now, if you want to know if anyone here knows of anyone going to the Ombudsman then that is a different question altogether.
