Hi everyone,
I am unable to contact sellers. When I click on the contact seller link, the small window on the right opens up but it won't let me type anything in the space provided and the "send message bar" is greyed out. I am using the latest Firefox version. Is there some setting I need to adjust?
Thank you.

OP, seller is registered in Australia… The stock is imported from China (Shein or AliExpress are likely, but could be Temu). Seller seems to be decent enough.
When you click onto the Contact Seller link, and you’re presented the greyed-out text field and a button below saying “Send Message”, have you actually placed your cursor into the greyed-out field? You should be able to type into that field, even though it looks counter-intuitive.

Hi everyone & thank you for all your replies and advice!
I am not very pc savvy and it is with some embarrassment that I admit I finally worked out why I could not use the Contact Seller function to send messages.
When presented with the small :Contact Seller" box on the right side of the window, there is an upper "Send Message" in small writing and below it another "Send Message" with larger writing. Initially, I placed my cursor over the upper "Send Message" but there was no indication it was a clickable area/link so I moved my cursor to the lower, greyed out "Send Message" that was clearly a clickable area but it was not responsive to my click.
The first responder to my question actually gave me the answer only I did not realise at the time. It wasn't till contessalmirena 's reply "You should be able to type into that field, even though it looks counter-intuitive" that made me take another look and this time I clicked on the upper "Send Message" (which does NOT look clickable) that revealed a typing box.
Perhaps the upper "Send Message" writing should be replaced with "Click here to type message" for people like me. : (

Can you click on any of the seller’s items to ask a question?

Is it a question about something you have bought and has not arrived or not as described?
Or a question you have about an item you are interested in buying and what you need to know is not in the description?

Hello twyngwyn: I cannot click on any sellers items to ask a question. In this case though, I am trying to send a message to a seller about an item I bought but have not received.

You can open an item not received dispute without having to message the seller
What is their feedback as a seller like?
Where are they registered?

Hello sandypebbles: I am trying to send a message to a seller to let them know the item I bought has not arrived + I also cannot contact any seller to ask a question about an item. Once I click on Contact Seller, a small window opens to the right but it won't let me proceed to typing and sending message.

Is the item past the Last Estimated Delivery Date?
If not then you will have to wait to open an Item Not Received Case.
If so then use the eBay Money Back Guarantee... that will get the seller's attention.

As said
You do not need to message the seller about this
If the item is overdue,
Open and follow through with an item not received dispute
Don't let the seller trick you into closing it if they should happen to message you and tell you to close it and they will help you if they do etc etc
What is the item number?
