I am guessing someone else has had this question to eBay and am hoping someone can answer it for me. Sales I make on a Friday, for example, to close of business, lets say $1,000 of goods were sold, the WHOLE amount stays in processing until Saturday when the money starts trickling over, then on Sunday night a mysterious amount of 349.60 has been converted and that's what arrives in my account on Monday afternoon. Why don't I get the full amount of Fridays sales on Monday, of course I am still waiting for Saturday & Sundays money, seems they are holding it longer than needed, is there a reason?? Thank you for anyones assistance in getting my heard around it.

Paypal is no longer relevant.
If you can't understand that, then you are destined for disappointment.
End of.

You really have 2 options.
1. Send the good's as you know the money has been paid, and is in the process.
2. Close your account and enjoy life

Paypal was being used as a reference, fully aware PayPal is no longer an option.

As previously Stated, Business Days.....
Learn how the system works, or learn how to read , understand and follow your payments.

Great help, thanks. I think business days refers to the money showing up in your account, not being transferred over to "Available Funds".

You can have a look at the Adyen website for more info, but I think that anyone expecting Adyen to function like PP is going to be forever disappointed as it is not structured in the same way and honestly not worth stressing over.
From another forum:
MP processes Pending Funds in 1-2 Business days. It will then move into your Available Funds and transfer on the next Business day if you do Daily Deposits [poorly named]. If you do Weekly Deposits, then it will transfer on the next Tuesday. Transfers take 1-4 day. The larger the bank the more likely your transfers will happen faster. Smaller more local banks may take a bit longer. Once MP releases the transfers they go into the ACH system and they no longer have any control over those transfers, the banking system does. So once your transfer enters the ACH system, if it is slow to get to your bank, contact your bank and try to find out why.

Thank you Jellybirddesigns, I am all good with the transferring to my bank, I am with one of the big 4 banks and once transferred at 1-4am in the morning, I do receive it into my account at 4pm that same afternoon, my issue is with how long it stays in "Processing" on a Friday, the money only starts releasing over to "Available Funds" on a Sunday (a non bank day) and then the amount that is available to me on Monday afternoon is only a portion of Fridays sales, sometimes as little as 20% (60% of the sales may have been sold before 10am on Friday morning). It's nice to have someone who actually sells a few things give a perspective. Thank you.

No, ebay is very clear, that business days refer to processing.
How you get paid
As an eBay seller, you'll receive your payouts in your linked bank account.
Once the buyer's order is confirmed, you can send the item. The selling fees and other costs are automatically deducted, and your sales proceeds will show as Processing funds.
It typically takes 2 business days from confirming the buyer's payment for the sales proceeds to appear as Available for payout, unless the transaction was placed on hold, in which case it may take longer.

So as my original questions asks, why does it take 2 days to go from processing to available. I appreciate your help and I have read all the information, I am just bewildered as to why. I take credit cards through my business and every transaction I take until 6.59pm that day is credited to my account the following morning (again, this will depend on the bank you use and excludes weekends however I do get Friday's money on Saturday morning). Thank you for your assistance. Deal with it or go to another selling platform is the only reasonable answer. Stay safe all.

Honestly - you're overthinking it at this point.
Much better to have a glass of wine and ponder the universe, which is probably simpler than trying to understand Ebay/Adyen processes.
