How do you change the name in the G'Day...box?

Do you mean when you log into eBay? If so, why would you want to? It says this to whoever has the account.

Seems like you have created a headache for yourself.  I don't know if you can change your name on your account, you would need to send proof to eBay I would imagine.  It may be easier to cancel your account and open a new one.  I just couldn't imagine wanting to do that unless someone is after you. I have umpteen dozen things in my name and it would take me the rest of my life to change them all.  Good luck with it all.

Then Personal Information 

Halfway down Email and Contact Information

Then Registered name address and phone number

Not sure what you can change but people move and get married so should allow that.

If you have legally changed your name you have to contact ebay and give them proof of the change.

You cannot change the name yourself but you can change your address.
